Record
Students take in new information and record key data, diagrams or notes — the foundation everything else builds on.
Reduce
Notes get condensed into the core idea — a summary, a diagram, a flashcard — turning a page of facts into one true understanding.
Recite
Students explain what they learned without looking at their notes. Actively recalling information builds stronger, longer-lasting memory than simply re-reading it.
Reflect

About us
Science, taught properly — hands-on, personal, and built around how memory actually works.
Jayden Science Academy exists to make science accessible, exciting and meaningful for Malaysian students. We help teenagers see science not as a subject to memorise, but as a way to understand, question and explore the world around them.
Every lesson follows Jayden's 5R System — Record, Reduce, Recite, Reflect, Review — grounded in learning science research on retrieval practice and spaced repetition. It's how short-term cramming becomes long-term understanding.
We teach secondary Science and Biology students in Batu Pahat, with face-to-face and hybrid classes to fit a busy school schedule — warm and encouraging, knowledgeable but never full of jargon, and always honest about what real learning takes.

I started this academy because I wanted science to feel like discovery, not memorisation — and because every student learns better when the person teaching them actually knows their name. My biomedical science background shapes what I teach; my Master's in Education shapes how — the same research on retrieval practice and spaced repetition the 5R System is built on. I still teach every single class myself, online or in person.
